2007 finished on a high note for the stud with both grand daughters of Rodlease Fiesta returning from the Breed Show with trophies. This was even more pleasing as Miss Darnton was also celebrating her 80^th Birthday over the Breed show weekend. Jubilation made a winning debut in the WHP class and took the Novice WHP Championship - judge Cindy Sims being particularly impressed with her athletic ability over her fences. We have purposely given 5 year old Jubilation time to mature with her ridden work and this result was certainly proof that patience pays.

Following this 6 yr old Rodlease May Delight gave a lovely performance in the Open Ridden (138cms and under)
to stand top of the line in the customary strong ridden class.

The Breed Show probably has the strongest line-ups of the whole season so these results were particularly pleasing for the stud.

2007 itself has seen a good selection of results for the Rodlease ponies culminating in Rodlease May Delight finishing in 8^th position in the Elite Scheme - quite an achievement bearing in mind that we don’t travel our ponies to many of the Elite scoring Shows. Some of her elite points came from her successful Jumping Grading – Grades 1 and 2 in September. We have enjoyed producing a pony to do so well in the NF Ridden Show classes
as well as being such a useful performance pony in WHP and the NFPEC Show Jumping Teams.

Rodlease Jubilation also had a very successful year with wins in-hand both in NF classes and in Sports Pony classes
and although shown lightly under saddle was consistently in the ribbons.

Finally our forest-bred gelding Fleetwater Warrior, bought in for the purpose of running with the colts, has proved himself to be more than a useful companion notching up some very good results in-hand, most noticeably a win at the New Forest and Hants County Show in the huge gelding class.
