I will soon be able to offer you a comprehensive video library of top international dressage riders and horses taken by myself in 1984, 85 and 87.

The CHIO at Aachen was filmed in 1984 and 1987. The championships at Munster in July 1985. These national championships, usually held in Berlin or Munich, were for the first time held in the old town of Munster. The film captures the truly remarkable atmosphere of the show and portrays many of the well known riders working in as well as in competition. At Munster, there is the splendid backdrop of the Schloss or castle and the whole area was freely open to the public to come and go as they pleased. It was noticeable how much interest the university students showed as they pedaled past on their bicycles, each pausing to observe for a while before proceeding.

They were especially rooted to the spot to watch the brilliance of their own Munster based world champion, Dr.Reiner Klimke.

The show jumping arena was set in a beautiful natural amphitheatre and apart from top class show jumping,

there were entertaining displays plus the colourful spectacle of the prize giving and medal giving ceremonies.
